David | Newbury, Berkshiremake and model - compaq presario c700 - the pin where you plug in the charger overheated and the charger head (yellow piece)was melted and i think the pin may be damaged. i have ordered a new charger which will arrive in the next few days but wondered how much it would cost to diagnose and replace pin if this is the problem, indeed if it can be fixed.
